Since the establishment, GDE has accomplished over 6000 large and medium design projects in industries such as sugar, beer, new energy & environment, food & beverage, bio-fermentation, chemical & medicine, papermaking, electronics, alcohol, commercial grain, power plant, building material, machinery, municipal, civil building, interior decoration, city planning, pressure vessel & pipe and etc. There were 40 overseas projects in over 20 countries. Furthermore, the company has obtained over 300 Excellent Engineering Design Awards in national, ministerial and provincial level.

Engineering Consultancy
GDE holds certificates, regarding consulting, of planning consulting, project proposal, project feasibility study report, project application report, fund application report, evaluation consulting, project estimate, project budget, project settlement, final account and project bidding document, in light industry, municipal (environmental hygiene), mechanical, chemical, ecological, environmental and communication industries. In the past years, GDE was providing customers with consulting services in enterprise development, project decision & implementation and etc, in accordance with its design concept of High Quality & Technology and accumulated much related experience and a number of professional elites with support from customers.
Engineering Contracting
GDE was one of the earliest companies which got involved in engineering contracting in industry. The business was spread into the industries approved by the certificates of municipal, environmental and etc from the original range which only consisted of light industry, food, beverage and thermal power. In addition, the company holds the Certificate of Foreign Project Contracting of P.R.C, which qualifies GDE to be enabled for foreign economic activities such as project survey, consulting, design & supervision and overseas employee dispatch. A number of overseas projects have been accomplished so far.
GDE is capable to undertake the whole process or several stages of project, i.e. design, purchase and construction (EPC); or design – construction (D-B); or design – purchase (E-P) or purchase – construction (P-C) and etc.
The management of engineering contracting is significant for the company so that GDE formulated an efficient system of project management control and regulations of project qualification control, health & safety management and construction organisation design examination. This digs deeply for the foundation of contracting work.

In supervision area, GDE possesses Class A certificates of construction & installation engineering and mechanical & electrical installation engineering.
