Sugar Refinery
GDE enjoys high reputation in the sugar refinery industry. On behalf of the relevant department of China, GDE has elaborated Design Standard of Sugar Refinery and design manuals. We have accumulatd abundant experience in engineering design and EPC contracting through a large number of projects at home and abroad. Our projects include Guyana Skeldon Sugar Modernisation Project, Indonesia LPI Komering Sugar Factory and Mali N-SUKALA Sugar Factory, etc.
COFCO Tangshan Cao Fei Dian Sugar Refinery Project
COFCO Tangshan Cao Fei Dian Sugar Refinery Project locates in Cao Fei Dian, Tangshan, Hubei Province. Annual capacity is expected to be 1 million ton refined sugar where 500,000 ton in Phase 1.Production line is able to produce superior soft sugar and superior and Class A white sugar. Advanced technologies, such as 3-effect plate evaporation system, multi-tube dryer and automatic packaging system have been adopted in the project.
Basic design was implemented from Feb, 2012; detail engineering from 2014; and the plant was put in operation in the end of 2015.

SAN BUENAENTURA Sugar Factory, Bolivia
Capacity: sugar cane 7,000 t/day, edible alcohol 100,000 L/day, bagasse hydrolysis 15 t/hour.
Equipemnt: a composting plant,a cogeneration plant with two boilers (120 t/hour) of medium temperature and medium pressure, and two turbine generators of 15MW.
