Milestone Node 丨 Dingxi City domestic waste incineration power generation EPC project #1 boiler hydraulic test success Edit Date：2022/10/10

       Recently, the successful hydraulic test of # 1 boiler of Dingxi City domestic waste incineration power generation EPC project undertaken by GDE, marks that the installation work of # 1 boiler body has been basically completed. This has created favorable conditions for the project to complete the next work, and also provides a strong guarantee for the project to achieve grid -connected power generation in April 2023.

       The responsible company of the project made overall arrangements, coordinated multiple parties, and cooperated closely, overcoming many unfavorable factors such as epidemic control, small construction site, complex and changeable climate, etc., and promoted the progress of the project with quantity and safety. Finally, the hydraulic test of # 1 boiler was successful in once, and the whole process of the test was unanimously approved by all parties.

       There are a total of 5,617 boiler welds within the scope of this hydraulic test, 3,013 welds were inspected, the test pressure was 9.3MPa, and the first pass rate was 99.77%. During the test, the rate of pressure rise and fall is strictly controlled to ensure that all welds, pressure-bearing components and valves have no leakage during the process, the system pressure is stable during the overpressure period, and the pressure-bearing components are not deformed or ruptured.

       With the successful completion of the 1# boiler hydraulic test, the project will face in major nodes such as low-temperature oven and reverse power transmission. The GDE project team will continue to practice lean management requirements to ensure that the project is completed with high quality.
