To Recognize Yourself and Restart—2019 GDE Mid-year Commendation Meeting of BIM Centre Edit Date：2019/07/19

       To make better conclusion on the performance of BIM centre, to push on the construction of BIM system and to enhance the staffs’ recognition against their work and themselves, recently GDE BIM centre held a Mid-year Commendation Meeting with its theme “To Recognize Yourself and Restart”. Company leaders, chief engineers and directors of various departments took part in this meeting.
       The commendation was divided into two phases: in phase 1 - preparation, firstly election for “Best staff”, “Excellent youth”, “Excellent R&D staff”, “Excellent system constructor” and “Excellent project engineer” was implemented by each specialty team within the BIM department, to develop candidates, according to the performance in the first half year; in Phase 2 – presentation, each candidate did their presentation regarding their work and would be voted by company leaders, chief engineers, director of department, leader of specialty group and as the result, 7 staffs, who had greatest thought, fastest progress, the most abundant achievements and highest efficiency, would be awarded.
       During the meeting, candidates demonstrated their serious and responsible attitude through presenting their achievement and inspiration from working so that the atmosphere of the meeting was energetic and positive. Company leaders, chief engineers highly affirmed the improvement on efficiency and quality from integration of BIM system and project and mentioned the future expectation against the development of BIM.
       At the last, Deputy Secretary Chen Rongrong gave the attendant a party lesson. He required people to “Recognize yourself and Restart”, to memorize the initial intention and mission of the foundation of BIM and to apply “keep the original intention; undertake the mission; discover the difference; and enhance the implementation” on the front line work. At the meantime, he mentioned, “today various design institutes are developing BIM technology as 3D design has been a trend.” , “To be able to break through the bottleneck of BIM system construction, ‘discover the difference; and enhance the implementation’ are essential.”, and “ More Communication with excellent BIM design companies will improve in detail to achieve more progress and new height.”
       The theme of the meeting conformed to the central spirit of “stay on the original intention and keep the mission in mind”. This meeting explicated the hard mission of BIM system construction, enhanced the connection between BIM centre and various engineering department. By motivational way, all BIM centre staffs are encouraged to dedicate to the work in the rest of year and this is meaningful to build completer and more competitive BIM system.
